    Job Title: Machine Operator

    Job Description

    The machine operator will engage in sanding, grinding, assembling, and cutting material. This role involves using hand and power tools, hand grinders, and measuring tools. Sit-down forklifts are utilized in the warehouse environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate machinery and equipment including hand and power tools.

    + Perform sanding, grinding, assembly, and cutting tasks on furniture components.

    + Utilize hand grinders and measuring tools for precise work.

    + Operate sit-down forklifts as required in the warehouse.

    Essential Skills

    + 6 months to 1 year of forklift experience.

    + 1-2 years of recent experience in construction, millwork, or cabinetry.

    + 1-2 years of experience with hand and power tools, recent within the last 6 months.

    + 1-2 years of experience with measuring tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to stand for 10 hours in a manufacturing environment.

    + Experience in a dusty environment with the use of a respirator face cup.

    + Comfortable working in warm conditions during the summer.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is family-like, with employees working in collaborative cells, fostering reliance on each other. There is a strong emphasis on training and development. The work hours are from 5:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday, with mandatory overtime on Friday and Saturday. The dress code is casual with jeans or shorts, t-shirt, and steel-toed boots. The millwork area can be dusty, and respirators are provided. It can also be warm during the summer months.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenyon, Minnesota.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
