• Inventory Specialist

    Overview

    **Scope of Responsibilities:** Works under limited supervision. Relies on experience and judgment to ensure adequate inventory levels

    **Job Summary:** Responsible for the inventory management, appropriate stock levels and maintaining accurate cost files.

    Responsibilities

    Job Duties:

    + Replenish inventory from in-store stock and in coming orders

    + Assist in the ordering of replacement product from the appropriate supplier

    + Assist in the management of inventory levels insuring adequate quantities are available to meet customers needs, without maintaining excessive levels

    + Assist in identifying and returning outdated or over stocked merchandise to the proper source

    + Update IT drug database as needed

    + Work with facility management and HD support staff to ensure that accurate cost files are maintained

    + Perform general housekeeping duties necessary to maintain a professional and clean department

    + Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs

    + Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Education:

    + Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled) or GED

    + Preferred: AS Degree or Higher

    Experience:

    + Preferred: 2 or more years previous experience in related position

    **Required** (Vermont Employees):

    + Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician

    **Required** (Ohio Employees Only):

    + Registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician

    Attendance Requirements:

    + Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts

    + Must be able to work nights and weekends as required

    Compensation:

    $16.00 - $20.06 an hour

     

    The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
