Job Description

CONFIDENTIAL SEARCH. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with a strong background in IT and Finance to lead strategic initiatives across financial systems, with a particular focus on Oracle EPM and related platforms. This role will oversee ongoing system maintenance, drive cross-functional collaboration, and ensure technology solutions align with financial goals and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, financial acumen, and project leadership to support enterprise-wide initiatives and optimize system performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage end-to-end projects focused on financial systems, including upgrades, integrations, and process improvements

Oversee ongoing maintenance and performance of Oracle EPM and other finance-related applications

Facilitate conversations between IT and Finance teams to ensure alignment on business needs, timelines, and outcomes

Collaborate with accounting teams to support reporting, compliance, and audit readiness

Manage relationships with third-party vendors and consultants to ensure timely delivery and system integrity

Translate financial requirements into technical specifications and ensure proper implementation

Develop and maintain project documentation, including timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and stakeholder communications

Monitor system usage and performance, recommending enhancements and ensuring data accuracy

Support change management and user training efforts across finance and IT teams

Skills and Requirements

• 7+ years of project management experience in IT and/or Finance environments

• Strong working knowledge of Oracle EPM, JD Edwards and other financial systems

• Background in accounting or finance, with the ability to interpret and communicate financial data

• Proven success managing cross-functional teams and third-party vendors

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills • Experience working in Adaptive

• PMP, Agile, or equivalent certification preferred null
