Job Description

A government client of Insight Global is looking to add a Roadway Engineer to their them. This engineer plays a vital role in the planning, design, and implementation of transportation infrastructure. This position involves technical design, project management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable roadway systems.

Skills and Requirements

- Prepare roadway plans, specifications, and cost estimates

- Professional Engineer (PE) Certification

- Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress.

- Analyze traffic patterns and optimize roadway layouts.

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

- Collaborate with urban planners, environmental consultants, and government agencies.

- Perform hydraulic modeling and stormwater drainage design.

- Submit permit applications and coordinate with regulatory bodies. - Civil or Structural Engineering Degree
