Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with hands on coding expertise in Python and Pyspark. We are looking for someone skilled in Telemetry, Big Data and backend engineering to help implement an application for large retailer. Domain experience in IoT systems, HVAC/refrigeration equipment, and other mechanical solutions is highly desired to have a better understanding of the project and be able to communicate with business stakeholders.

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
Expertise in Python, Pyspark and SQL
Hands on Python/Pyspark coding experience
Strong Big Data experience, GCP preferred
Telemetry experience
Streaming experience with analytics and data processing
Business analytics experience and working directly with business partners to implement feedback Strong understanding of IoT systems, especially in: Refrigeration units, HVAC systems, Controllers and sensors
Familiarity with equipment and systems from Emerson, Honeywell, or similar
Ability to explain how data flows through IoT units and how sensors are designed and monitored null
