    Job Description

    A client of Insight Global is seeking a Sr. FP&A Analyst. As the Income Statement Senior Analyst, you act as a financial and analytical expert in consolidation of reporting for Nuclear, as well as supporting Functional segments (Quality, Facilities). The dynamic team you will be joining responsible for a broad scope of activities, including budgeting, forecasting, executive reporting, and strategic decision-making support. Responsibilities will include:

    • Leadership and Financial Planning:

    o Lead Consolidation of Planning & Forecasting Processes:

    o Manage short-term (ST) planning processes, including Budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly pacing across income statements, cost categories, and headcount.

     

    o Model Development: Create a flexible financial model to consolidate plans for internal and external reporting.

     

    o Materials Preparation: Oversee the development of materials and schedules for income statement reviews for internal leadership, Vernova, Investor Relations, and Board presentations.

     

    • Analytical Insight and Variance Analysis:

     

    o Business Performance Analysis: Track trends, metrics, and drivers to identify risks, issues, and opportunities, delivering synthesized insights to enhance decision-making.

     

    o Variance Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of actual results vs. forecasts and prior periods in collaboration with controllership. Provide detailed insights into revenue, cost of goods sold, SG&A, and key accounts, while articulating operating metrics and identifying headwinds and tailwinds.

     

    • Business Partnership

     

    o Decision Support: Collaborate with line of business leaders and FP&A partners to provide actionable insights, financial transparency, and accountability frameworks.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 8-10 years’ experience in a corporate FP&A role where they have been responsible for reviewing income statements, forecasting, and presenting to leadership.

    • Persuasive, Energetic, enthusiastic, self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Willing to find a way and do some creative problem solving when needed.

    •  Ability to work in a matrix organization and ability to react to emerging priorities

    • Skilled influencer, able to communicate complex messages to others. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Ability to lead projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.

    • Ability to explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus.

    • Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems that impact the function. null
