Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

We are seeking a Microwave Technician for our first shift manufacturing team. Key Roles and Responsibilities include:
+ Fabricates and/or modifies complex microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies by following specific instructions using an MRSI microwave component automated pick and place machine.
+ Must be able to operate a MRSI 705 and 175. Should be familiar with die attach (MMICs, IC's, caps, diodes and resistors) on complex modules.
+ Must be able to work with lamination presses, bladder bag ovens and sheet epoxies (mainly with the focus of attaching substrates to modules/housings)
+ Must be able to work with a wide variety of adhesives and epoxy's
+ Fabricates and/or modifies complex micro-integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies by following specific instructions for wire and ribbon bonding utilizing various manual and automatic bonding machines.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ 1 year of work experience
+ Computer competency and English literacy is required
+ Ability to work with a microscope for an entire shift.
+ Familiar with bonding complex microwave modules and familiar with manual gold ball and ribbon bonding.
+ Familiar with manual bonding equipment (e. g., Westbond, etc.) and with automatic bonding equipment (Palomar 8000/9000 bonders).
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Active security clearance
+ Experience working with adhesives and epoxy's.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $41024 - $65639
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
