Job Description

A leading healthcare insurance provider is seeking a Senior Python AI Engineer to join its AI Center of Excellence. This role is ideal for a highly technical, self-driven engineer with deep expertise in Python application development and a strong background in deploying AI/ML solutions at scale.

As part of a collaborative team driving the enterprise AI strategy, you will:

Design and develop robust Python applications that integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and other Generative AI technologies to solve complex business challenges.

Build and maintain scalable APIs that power GenAI agents across various business use cases.

Engineer data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and serving large datasets efficiently.

Implement prompt engineering strategies and contextual data integration from external systems to optimize LLM performance.

Monitor and optimize the performance of deployed AI services and data workflows in production environments.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of hands-on Python development experience, with a focus on application architecture and data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, PySpark).

Proven experience integrating LLMs into production-grade applications.

Strong GenAI experience, including prompt design, context management, and model fine-tuning.

Proficiency with cloud platforms (Azure or GCP), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools (ArgoCD).

Experience working in a collaborative, agile environment with cross-functional teams. Master's Degree (Computer Science, Mathemetics, Statistics, or a related field)

Knowledge of AI frameworks such as Langchain or Pydantic AI

Strong understanding and experience with machine learning frameworks null
