    Job Description

    The Director of Admissions at Newport Healthcare will collaborate closely with three other directors to manage census and ensure optimal bed utilization across the facility. This role involves overseeing admissions flow, coordinating placements, and maintaining real-time awareness of bed availability. The director will also lead waitlist management, ensuring timely and appropriate transitions for incoming clients. Success in this position requires someone who thrives in fast-paced, detail-heavy environments and is comfortable being “in the weeds” of daily operations. Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills are essential for aligning admissions with clinical and operational priorities.
