**The laboratory of Professor Scott Murray of the Psychology Department has an opportunity for a 100% Research Study Coordinator (RSC) (Research Study Coordinator 1 (NE S SEIU 925 Non Supv)).** The RSC will assist with the coordination, scheduling, and monitoring of the collection of brain imaging and visual psychophysics data in adults with autism spectrum disorder. The individual will work in a team environment including Dr. Murray, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and undergraduate research assistants.
Lead Responsibilities:
+ Assist in the preparation of human subjects applications, consent forms and progress reports for institutional review board
+ Maintain adherence to research protocols and verify accuracy of research study data
+ Prepare and submit data for archival storage
+ Manage study payments and verify Procard transactions
+ Operate imaging and peripheral equipment to perform MRI research exams
+ Assist in the collection and analysis of brain imaging, visual psychophysics, EEG, and eye tracking data
+ Writing data analysis scripts
+ Subject database management
+ Record keeping and the maintenance of confidentiality of subject records
+ Explaining study protocol to participants including informed consent
Minimum Requirements
+ Two years of college-level course work in a relevant academic area AND one year of appropriate experience OR equivalent education/experience.
Desired Qualifications
+ BA or BS in Psychology or related field
+ Previous experience as a research assistant or other research position
+ Experience in brain imaging (MRI or EEG) processing and analysis
+ Experience maintaining brain imaging and PHI databases
+ Experience programming in MATLAB, Python, or R
+ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
+ Strong statistical/quantitative skills
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines
+ Ability to work with colleagues in a way that enhances collaboration and team building
Compensation, Benefits and Position Details
Pay Range Minimum:
$44,256.00 annual
Pay Range Maximum:
$56,124.00 annual
