About The Coeur d'Alene Resort Spa:
The Coeur d'Alene Resort Spa is a luxurious 30,000 sq ft lakeside sanctuary nestled on the shore of Lake Coeur d'Alene,
open daily year-round from 8AM to 8PM. With a dedicated team of 100+ professionals, the spa features 21 treatment
rooms, a meditation lounge with sweeping water views, and a full suite of fitness, hydrotherapy, sauna, and salon
amenities. Inspired by the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, we offer signature experiences - from the Vichy
Shower to the multi-hour “Mountain Mineral Kur” - all set against a backdrop of award-winning service and stunning
surroundings.

Primary Report: Assistant Spa Manager (Secondary Report - Spa Director)
Who Reports to Front Desk Manager: (1) Front Desk Supervisor, (10-12) Front Desk Attendants, and (1) Spa Booking
& Inventory Coordinator
Hours:
Will generally follow a set schedule but may vary based on business needs (full time – 40 hours per week). Requires
weekend, evening, and holiday availability.
Overview:
Supports the Spa Front Desk in keeping the spa running smoothly by leading the Front Desk Team with positivity,
professionalism, and a Guest-first mindset. This is one of the largest and most critical leadership positions at our spa,
responsible for managing a fast-moving team that supports a spa of 85–100 team members and operations running daily
from 8AM–8PM. Acts as a strong, reliable presence for new hires, helping to train, guide, and set the tone for excellent
service. Handles both Team Member and Guest issues with care and confidence, maintaining composure under pressure
and ensuring the team performs at its highest level. Above all, ensures every Guest enjoys a seamless, elevated spa
experience from the moment they arrive until the moment they leave.
Duties:
• Supervision: Manages and supports the Front Desk Team – (10/15 team members) - providing guidance and
addressing their needs
• Independent Department Leadership: Owns the Front Desk department with minimal oversight, taking full
responsibility for operations, team performance, and guest experience, and driving the department's success with
initiative and accountability.
• Training: Assists in training new Front Desk hires
• Operational Oversight: Managing daily front desk operations (being fully rounded with the menu offerings or
know what resources to utilize to do so), including check-in/check-out processes, and Guest inquiries
• Guest Service: Maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere, addressing Guest needs and concerns, and
ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Staff Management: Training and development of front desk staff – offering suggestions and feedback to the desk
team as needed.
• Staffing Oversight: Manages front desk scheduling, handles call-outs, and ensures appropriate coverage to
maintain smooth spa operations.
• Policy Enforcement: Assist in maintaining high service standards – providing kind confrontation to the Spa
Front Desk Team when they are not following protocols
• Team & Technical Support: Assists team members in resolving operational/technological issues while utilizing
strong mathematical skills and proficiency with technology, including our booking and point-of-sale systems.
• Empowerment: Our Front Desk Manager is entrusted with the authority to make informed, independent
decisions in real time to support both our guests and team. This includes handling situations such as approving
guest accommodations or discounts, managing unexpected staffing needs, and addressing operational challenges
to ensure a seamless spa experience.
• Manager on Duty: Acts as Spa MOD in the case that our Spa Director or Assistant Manager is not here
• Schedule: Review/proofread the Front of House Schedule (Front Desk, Valet, Rec)
• Retail: Restocking retail shelves as needed and assists the Inventory Manager as needed
• Other Duties: Other duties as assigned

Pay:
$20 per hour
