    Description

    **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Equipment Operators** for projects located in and around **Monticello, IN** . This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of **$28-32/hour** based on experience and skill level.     Job Scope:

    + Preparing and maintaining construction sites

    + Loading and unloading materials

    + Digging and backfilling trenches

    + Compacting soil

    + Laying pipe and repairing water leaks

    + Assisting Hydrovac truck operators

    + Setting up/dismantling bracing and scaffolding

    + Following blueprints and project plans

    + Safely operating equipment such as:

    + Excavators, bulldozers, skid steers, haul trucks, dump trucks (CDL required for dump truck operation)

    Requirements:

    + Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

    + OSHA 10 certification; TI offers the course to qualified candidates who have yet to obtain the certification

    + Physical ability to lift 50–75 pounds regularly

    + Flexibility to work varying hours

    + Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently

    + General construction experience preferred

    + Knowledge of earthmoving equipment & problem-solving skills

    + Willingness to learn and grow in both residential and commercial projects
