    Aircraft Maintenance Technician | Tallahassee, FL

    **Pay Range:** $23.72 – $37.96/hour

    **Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

    Position Overview

    PDS Tech Commercial, in partnership with a global leader in the aviation industry, is seeking an experienced **Aircraft Maintenance Technician** in Tallahassee, FL. This role is responsible for performing complex maintenance, repair, and installation tasks to ensure aircraft meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational readiness.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on commercial helicopters.

    + Install aftermarket kits and systems, including air conditioning units, sliding doors, rescue hoists, and FAST rope systems.

    + Conduct major and minor repairs and modifications to aircraft structures, including sheet metal and composite fabrication.

    + Disassemble and reassemble aircraft as required, supporting post-maintenance flight testing.

    + Fabricate mounting provisions for avionics installations.

    + Diagnose and resolve technical issues with minimal supervision.

    + Train and assist junior mechanics, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

    + Collaborate within a team environment to meet project schedules and client requirements.

    + Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications

    + FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.

    + Minimum of 2 years of commercial helicopter maintenance experience, preferably within an FAA Part 145 Repair Station.

    + Proficiency in reading and interpreting installation instructions, maintenance manuals, and engineering blueprints.

    + Experience with sheet metal and composite repairs, structural modifications, and fabrication techniques.

    + Ability to accurately measure, drill, and modify aircraft structures without causing damage to surrounding components.

    + Must provide personal tools required for assigned tasks.

    + Availability to work overtime as needed.

    Physical Requirements

    + Ability to sit, stand, crawl, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as needed.

    + Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

    **Pay Details:** $23.72 to $37.96 per hour
