In September of 2017, Bob Evans Farms was acquired by Post Holdings, Inc. and is part of the Refrigerated Retail division. Other divisions of Post include Post Consumer Brands (Cereal), Weetabix (Cereal – UK), Michael Foods (Foodservice), and 8th Avenue Food & Provisions (Private Label). Post has aggressive growth plans for BEF, highlighted by the recent deployment of capital to support innovation, marketing and manufacturing. Responsibilities Position Overview Join our 10-week program in the Sales Department working with the Trade & Category Management teams to gain an understanding of the department’s initiatives. This intern will work on projects that include but are not limited to planning sales growth and trade promotion management against revenue, working on profit objectives for Post Refrigerated Retail Business and a two-part Capstone project (Selling Story Development and Identifying a Business Opportunity). Responsible for positively impacting Bob Evan’s business and consumers by completing challenging and meaningful projects.  Demonstrate our core values: Put Safety First, Win Together, Do the Right Thing, Be Courageous and Drive for Results.  Accountabilities Assist in administration of strategic sales and trade plans for Retail Sales Team  Work with a Trade Manager mentor on fundamentals of the 4P’s (Product, Price, Promotion, Placement) process focusing on promotional analysis  Leverage data analytics to track and monitor ROI of Sales/Trade Investments  Support customer specific programs that align with brand objectives to drive retail activities in support of the company’s growth and profit objectives  Collaborate in the preparation of product mix reviews, submissions & daily imperatives  Gather competitive intelligence and evaluate impact on the market  Qualifications Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business management or a related discipline. Strong quantitative, analytical and presentation skills with strong oral and written communication Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively with company peers and Post Holdings partners.  Strong interpersonal skills - Listening and informing others effectively; excellent negotiating and influencing skills at all levels both internal and external.   Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimal direction. Must be a self-motivated self-starter.  Must possess the ability to always maintain external and internal confidentiality.
