60 Minutes is seeking a Digital Associate Producer with strong video editing skills, sharp editorial judgment, and a passion for news to join our team! Youll work with the Senior Producer, Social Media to execute our social strategy, creating platform-specific content that engages our growing audiences on TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads, BlueSky, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging platformswhile maintaining the voice, style, and integrity of 60 Minutes.

Youll be a member of a high-performing team at Americas #1 news program, where your work will reach millions of viewers each week and help shape how 60 Minutes engages the next generation of audiences.This is a hybrid role based in New York.

Responsibilities:

+ Create and edit social-first video content using Adobe Premiere Pro

+ Build graphics and edit images using Adobe Photoshop

+ Collaborate with producers to ensure storytelling is accurate, fair, and compelling across platforms

+ Resurface archival content in response to the news cycle and anniversaries

+ Write clear, concise, and engaging social copy in the 60 Minutes voice

+ Ability to work efficiently with a team under extreme deadlines

+ Adhere to 60 Minutes media management and archiving policies

Qualifications:

+ 3+ years video editing experience with Premiere Pro

+ 3+ years of newsroom experience preferred

+ Deep familiarity with social media platforms, audiences and standard processes

+ Self-starter with excellent communication, organization and time-management

+ Strong editorial judgment and understanding of the 60 Minutes brand

+ An adaptable schedule is required: available for nights and weekends, as the 60 Minutes production schedule dictates

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $75,000.00 - 100,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
