ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
**Location:** Saint Francis LIFE College Avenue, Newark DE
**Status:** Full time
**Shift:** Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (No nights, holidays, or weekends)
Position Purpose:
Provide administrative and clerical support to ensure cost-effective operations, efficient communication, and effective program management. Oversee hiring, credentialing, and filing processes to meet regulatory standards. Work independently on problem-solving and assist with special projects.
Position Information:
Position may also cover shifts at St Francis LIFE Riverfront, Wilmington, DE. The locations are about 16 miles apart.
What you will do:
+ Offer administrative support to streamline operations, enhance communication, and solve daily issues.
+ Coordinate hiring, credentialing, and filing to ensure compliance.
+ Manage calendars, compile data, and create charts, graphs, and spreadsheets.
+ Prepare complex reports, presentation materials, and informational packets.
+ Provide backup coverage for other administrative roles.
+ Handle travel arrangements, meetings, and event planning.
+ Maintain and update transportation schedules.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
+ One (1) year of customer service experience serving as the first point of contact via email/phone/in person strongly preferred.
+ Experience in data entry and scheduling preferred.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook required. Strong Excel skills are critical to success in the position.
+ Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
+ Ability to adapt to change, manage and be flexible with work priorities, and pay attention to detail.
