Primary Objective:

Operates various industrial powered equipment in the shipping and receiving of materials.

Major Functions and Scope:

+ Operates various powered industrial trucks to assemble orders, stage orders and load/unload trucks.

+ Removes and empties scrap and waste containers.

+ Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.

+ Follows standard operating and safety procedures.

+ Keeps area safe, clean and organized.

+ Receives all incoming freight.

+ Uses ASI Inventory System.

+ Assembles and packs FedEx shipments.

+ Performs other related duties as required.

Knowledge, Experience, Competencies and Supervision:

While performing the duties of this position, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this position includes close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this position, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The associate is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures. The noise level is less than 85 dBA.
