    Our clients in Traverse City, is seeking a Human Service Worker to join their team. As a Human Service Worker, you will be part of a compassionate and supportive environment, helping individuals in need to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life **.** **Some post-secondary education in human services field preferred** . The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Human Service Worker

    **Location:** Traverse City, MI

     

    Pay Range: $19.61 - $22.61

     

    **Shift:** Rotating, including overnights, weekend, holiday and overtime as needed.

     

    What's the Job?

     

    Executing the day-to-day operational functions associated with a low-barrier, housing-focused emergency shelter.

     

    Supporting clients with needs.

     

    Answering phones, emails, preparing documents and entering case notes into HMIS.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

     

    Experience in human services or a related field.

     

    Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

     

    Compassionate and patient approach to client care.

     

    Willingness to learn and adapt to various client needs.

    Required:

    Education, Licenses, Certifications and Experience:

    High School Diploma or GED required.

     

    Some post-secondary education in human services field preferred.
