Join Amazon Global Logistics (GL) as a Supply Chain Manager I focusing on Cargo Integrity and Recovery Services (CIRS). In this role, you'll drive strategic initiatives to optimize our network capacity and supply chain operations, directly impacting Amazon's commitment to customer-centric service. You'll lead cross-functional programs while analyzing and improving our inbound transportation performance for WePay and PCP businesses.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive strategic initiatives related to network capacity optimization across business units
- Analyze and synthesize data to enhance customer experiences and operational efficiency
- Define metrics and develop program management mechanisms for complex network capacity situations
- Balance supply and demand while improving distribution network efficiency
- Monitor and optimize key performance indicators for supply chain network flow
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Product, and Finance teams
- Manage inbound WePay and PCP performance reporting and business reviews
- Develop and implement process improvements using Lean methodology
- Oversee inventory management, logistics strategy, and transportation optimization initiatives
A day in the life
Your typical day involves engaging with multiple stakeholders to drive operational excellence. You'll start by reviewing daily performance metrics for Inbound WePay and PCP operations, using various analytical tools and dashboards to identify trends and opportunities. You'll collaborate with Carrier Management and Shipper Support teams to address challenges and implement solutions. Regular interaction with senior leadership ensures visibility of key initiatives and results. The role offers a balance of strategic planning and hands-on operational management.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- 1+ years of supply chain experience
- 1+ years of program or project management experience
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Knowledge of SQL
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in transportation or logistics, preferably in e-commerce or retail industries
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or supply chain management (e.g., APICS CSCP)
- Experience with lean methodologies and continuous improvement processes
- Familiarity with network optimization and capacity planning tools
- Experience in performance metric development and tracking
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
- Experience in data-driven decision making and presenting insights to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $57,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $106,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
