Description
Seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead development and the on-time delivery of new consumer electronics accessories, for our existing Made for Amazon certification program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supplier selection, supplier negotiations, product viability assessment, manufacturing processes, and be adept in meticulous schedule and cost management.
The Amazon Device Accessories team is looking for a talented, smart, experienced and entrepreneurial Senior Program Manager to help us deliver a world-class portfolio of accessories for Amazon devices. Joining the Amazon Device Accessories team means partnering with a dynamic and creative group who set a high bar for innovation and success in a fast-paced and changing environment.
The role will have end-to-end ownership to deliver products using Amazon’s certification program and merchandising partnership program for Amazon Device Accessories. This person will partner with select manufacturing partners in the consumer electronics category to develop unique accessories for Amazon’s current and future devices.
We expect the candidate to be a passionate customer and category advocate within Amazon, with proven analytical capabilities and project management skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task. The Senior Program Manager must be an effective negotiator, leader and communicator in working with some of Amazon’s most important partners and vendors, as well as with internal cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for product, a high level of flexibility, commitment, and a sense of humor.
Key job responsibilities
End to end ownership of the Made for Amazon certification program, with assistance from legal partners.
Refine the development of the certification program as the business needs evolve.
Partner selection: Develop and maintain partner selection decision matrix.
Product selection: Develop and maintain tenets for product selection criteria.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, managing all phases of product development from concept to launch to ensure timely delivery, and within cost guardrails.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams, including vendor engagement, GTM, supply chain, and PL inputs to synchronize efforts and adhere to product launch timelines.
Product Launch Execution: Collaborate with the GTM and cross functional product teams for product launches, coordinating between internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth rollout and market entry.
Process Optimization: Continuously assess and optimize manufacturing and production processes to meet quality standards, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential delays and bottlenecks in the product development lifecycle, devising and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and ensure on-time product launches.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
