    Description

    Inspect, clean, assemble, and sterilize medical instruments, equipment, and supplies.

    Prepare, store, and restock sterile supplies and equipment according to established protocols.

    Operate sterilization equipment to ensure that supplies and instruments are clean and ready for use.

    Document all activities related to sterilization and cleaning procedures.

    Assist operating room and procedural area staff with the setup of supplies and equipment as needed.

    Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.

    Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.

    Follow all safety protocols and procedures related to the use of sterilization and cleaning equipment.

    Report any issues or concerns to supervisors in a timely manner.

    Participate in training and education sessions as required.

    Looking for a motivated and organized Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring that our operating rooms, procedural areas, and departments have the necessary supplies and instruments they need to provide safe and high-quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask and prioritize, and the desire to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Qualifications:• High school diploma or GED• Previous experience in a sterile processing environment or in a related field• Knowledge of standard sterilization and cleaning procedures• • CRCST• Excellent hand-eye coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed• Ability to stand for long periods of time• Ability to work in a team setting and take direction from supervisors• Adaptable to a changing work environment

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $23.50/hr.
