Hiring Welder/Fitter in Westampton Township, NJ!

WEEKLY PAY, OVERTIME AVAILABLE, AND IMMEDIATE START ONCE OFFERED!!

Shift/Pay: Monday – Friday

• 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Overtime typically until 4:30 PM)

• Competitive pay based on experience

• Location: Westampton Township, NJ

Description:

+ Perform MIG, TIG, and Flux welding on stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum

+ Pass certification tests adhering to AWS Codes

+ Read blueprints and tack metal pieces in position

+ Weld in all positions including flat, vertical, and overhead

+ Collaborate with team members to solve fit and operation issues

+ Operate drills, grinders, forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment

+ Use metal saws, shears, and a wide variety of tools

+ Support various departments including the trucking department by building from the chassis up

Qualifications/Skills:

+ 5+ years of experience as a Welder/Fitter

+ Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Flux welding

+ Ability to read engineering sketches and welding symbols

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills

+ Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs

+ Valid driver’s license

+ Motivated, enthusiastic, and adaptable to schedule changes

+ Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
