    Job Title: Carpenter

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Carpenter where you will engage in general labor carpentry work including framing, blocking, and installing door/window frames and flashing. You will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing building structures, as well as maintaining a clean work area. This role involves the use of various tools such as saws, hammers, power/pneumatic tools, and measuring tapes. You will also be required to lift and move objects up to 70 lbs and bring your own basic tools to the job site.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform general labor carpentry tasks including framing, blocking, and installing door/window frames and flashing.

    + Measure, cut, and install building structures.

    + Utilize saws, hammers, power/pneumatic tools, and measuring tapes effectively.

    + Ensure the work site is cleaned up of all scrap and debris at the end of each day.

    + Lift and move items weighing up to 70 lbs.

    + Bring personal basic tools to the job site.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in carpentry and construction work.

    + Ability to read and understand blueprints.

    + Experience with doors, measuring tools, and finish carpentry.

    + Familiarity with concrete work and power tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial wood framing, flashing, and door framing.

    + Willingness to travel as required.

    + Capability to bring personal basic tools.

    Work Environment

     

    All work is conducted outdoors, sometimes in the elements, and sometimes within built structures. Candidates must be adaptable to working in all weather conditions. The dress code includes jeans, steel-toed boots, and a t-shirt. The company provides a hard hat and visibility cover.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
