    Aerotek is hiring a Pump Mechanic

    Responsibilities

    + Align and rebuild coupling pumps to maintain operational efficiency.

    + Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems with pumps to ensure continuous operation.

    + Identify and rectify faulty issues to minimize downtime.

    + Perform routine maintenance to extend the lifespan of equipment.

    + Conduct tests to verify the proper functioning of pumps.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong mechanical ability and hands-on experience with pump assembly.

    + Proficiency in blueprint reading and mechanical troubleshooting.

    + Experience with power tools and hand tools for repair work.

    + Understanding of compressor systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or GED required.

    + 3-5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.

    + Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment includes a structured first and second shift schedule: 1st shift from 7 AM to 3:30 PM and 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11:30 PM. You will be working in an industrial setting where safety and precision are paramount.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Memphis, Arkansas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $34.00/hr.
