    Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to assist with a variety of facility maintenance projects and tasks. This role involves responding to work orders, performing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work, and managing outside vendors. The technician will also be responsible for identifying HVAC issues and logging information using an iPad or iPhone.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist with facility maintenance related projects and tasks.

    + Respond to work orders across all buildings.

    + Perform mechanical work, including painting, patching holes in drywall, hanging pictures and whiteboards or TVs, changing filters, and assembling furniture.

    + Conduct electrical work such as changing outlets, switches, and lights.

    + Perform plumbing work like fixing leaking sinks or faucets.

    + Identify HVAC issues and alert appropriate personnel.

    + Manage outside vendors and verify their work.

    + Respond to work orders in a CMMS and log information using an iPad or iPhone.

    Available Shifts

    + Night Shift: 6:00PM - 4:30AM Monday - Thursday

    + Weekend Shift: 6:00AM - 2:30PM Friday - Sunday

    Essential Skills

    + 1+ year of facility maintenance experience in multifamily, apartments, hotel, industrial, residential, or commercial settings.

    + Experience with hand tools and power tools.

    + Basic plumbing skills such as fixing leaking sinks or faucets and adjusting toilets.

    + HVAC skills including changing filters.

    + Ability to use computers, iPads, or iPhones to look up work orders.

    + Teamwork and collaboration skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 2+ years of facility maintenance experience in any environment.

    + Ability to change light bulbs, switches, and outlets.

    + Exposure to CMMS and automated building controls.

    + Experience in repair, preventive maintenance, and construction services.

    + Ability to oversee outside contractors or vendors.

    Work Environment

     

    Work across five properties, including manufacturing, office space, and warehouses. The company is expanding by 200k square feet and is focused on building a construction-focused team. Enjoy a supportive work culture with opportunities for growth and development.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a 6 month Contract to Hire position based out of Scottsdale, Arizona.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
