    Job Title: Licensed Journeyman Electrician

    Job Description

    We are hiring Licensed Journeyman Electricians to support utility-scale solar installations in Illinois & Colorado. This is a travel-based position ideal for electricians who are passionate about renewable energy and open to working on remote job sites. Per diem expenses are provided.

     

    Pay Rate: $45 -50 Prevailing wage plus $120 Per Diem

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Install and maintain electrical systems on solar construction sites.

    + Interpret and work from electrical blueprints and schematics.

    + Perform conduit bending, wire pulling, and panel terminations.

    + Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and safety standards.

    + Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to meet project timelines.

    + Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Active Journeyman Electrician License (must be valid in at least one U.S. state).

    + Minimum 3 years of electrical experience, preferably in solar or commercial construction.

    + Willingness to travel and work on remote sites for extended periods.

    + Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and electrical codes.

    + Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
