    Job Description

    Join a dynamic manufacturing team that fabricates steel frames and cabinets for server rooms, data centers, and other functional data storage applications. With the increased demand in the data and technology industry, we are expanding our team to include skilled welders experienced in TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum metals.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum metals.

    + Execute straight and plug welds to fabricate frames and shelving according to customer specifications.

    + Read and interpret blueprints for accurate welding tasks.

    + Perform assembly tasks involving lap joints, tee joints, and butt joints.

    + Conduct grinding, fabrication, deburring, and sanding tasks to ensure high-quality finishes.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding techniques.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Experience with welding stainless steel and aluminum.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with grinding, deburring, and sanding.

    + Familiarity with assembly processes.

    Work Environment

     

    Work the second shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM in a clean, spacious, and well-ventilated environment. Each welder has their own workspace, tool box, and personal protective equipment, including gloves, steel toe boots, eye protection, and ear protection. The workspace is organized and maintained for optimal productivity.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmingdale, New York.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $23.00/hr.
