Job Title: Lead Machinist - 2nd Shift
Job Description
As a Lead Machinist, you will safely and accurately operate CNC machinery to perform a variety of functions. This role requires high skill levels, attention to detail, and the ability to work with precision. You will need to comply with all safety guidelines and demonstrate a keen mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, turning, grinding, and milling.
+ Understand task specifications and desired results by reading engineering drawings and other specifications.
+ Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
+ Conduct test runs to ensure machines produce outputs according to specifications.
+ Monitor machines closely and make necessary adjustments for optimal results.
+ Inspect and measure finished products to ensure compliance with requirements.
+ Perform daily maintenance on machinery to ensure functionality.
Essential Skills
+ Proven experience as a CNC operator with skills in operating CNC machinery and precision measurement tools.
+ Ability to read and interpret mechanical/engineering documents and drawings.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
+ Attention to detail and a results-driven approach.
+ Good communication abilities.
+ Reliability and perfect attendance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Certificate or diploma from a CNC machining school or technical college is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $54080.00/yr.
