Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking skilled skid steer and mini excavator operators to perform civil remediation work on a completed solar construction project. This position involves working with a dedicated team on a significant environmental initiative.

Responsibilities

+ Operate skid steers and mini excavators efficiently.

+ Perform civil remediation tasks as part of the solar construction project.

+ Assist in the removal and transport of coal ash for concrete production.

+ Maintain equipment and ensure safe operations on the job site.

Essential Skills

+ At least 3 years of experience operating skid steers.

+ At least 3 years of experience with mini excavators.

+ Strong background in civil construction.

+ Excellent attendance and reliability for a 60-hour work week.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with environmental tools and concrete work.

+ Ability to adapt to various construction tasks and responsibilities.

Work Environment

The work environment involves a 10-year project focused on coal ash removal at a Dominion power job site. Employees will work 60-hour weeks from Monday through Saturday, with shifts running from 7 AM to 5:30 PM. The schedule includes morning, afternoon, and lunch breaks. The role requires performing physical labor in an outdoor construction setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Louisa, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
