Job Title: Software Engineer Level 3 - Secret Clearance Job Description

Join a dynamic team dedicated to developing cutting-edge satellite ground station software solutions. As a Software Engineer, you will work onsite to develop Java-based applications for satellite ground systems, utilizing the latest tools and technologies to handle the ever-increasing volume of data from satellites.

Responsibilities

+ Develop and maintain Java-based backend applications for satellite ground systems in both Windows and Linux environments.

+ Utilize CI/CD pipelines, Artifactory, Gradle, and Maven to streamline development processes.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement robust server-side solutions.

+ Modify and improve existing codebases for enhanced performance and scalability.

+ Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to Agile principles.

+ Participate in integration and project milestone completion under guidance from supervisors.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) with a minimum of four years of engineering experience.

+ Proficiency in Java software development.

+ Experience configuring builds using Gradle and Maven.

+ Experience creating CI/CD jobs and configuring pipelines.

+ Experience using Artifactory.

+ Experience in the Command and Control Domain.

+ Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance.

+ U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with Atlassian tools, specifically Jira and Bitbucket.

+ Understanding of Conan package management.

+ Experience scripting with Groovy.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, Colorado.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
