Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support Workers' Compensation Attorneys in providing exceptional client service. This role involves managing day-to-day tasks, maintaining case files, and ensuring seamless communication between clients and attorneys. The ideal candidate excels in prioritization, multitasking, and thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a high-volume caseload, serving as the primary support for Workers' Compensation Attorneys.

• Act as the main point of contact between clients and attorneys, ensuring clear and empathetic communication.

• Handle client inquiries with professionalism and empathy, addressing their concerns effectively.

• Complete assignments, tasks, and client calls promptly and accurately.

• Identify and escalate urgent matters to attorneys in a timely and efficient manner.

• Process and oversee the distribution of incoming and outgoing client checks.

• Schedule and coordinate client appointments as required.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by attorneys or the leadership team.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a legal assistant or similar role.

• Proficiency in e-filing and managing court documents.

• Familiarity with civil litigation processes and workers' compensation cases.
