    Exciting RF Engineer Opportunity Supporting Aircraft Radar!!

    Job Description

    We are seeking an RF Engineer to support the development of RF hardware systems throughout the entire development lifecycle, from defining system requirements to delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and specifications related to your tasks.

    Responsibilities

    + Design and implement hardware designs under the guidance of sr staff.

    + Support assembly, integration, and testing activities.

    + Identify and select RF system components such as antennas, connectors, and cables.

    + Conduct supporting analyses to justify decisions, including RF link budgets.

    + Support assembly, initial operation, and check-out of systems, including test definition.

    + Tasking may involve RF systems for airborne applications, with potential assignments in other applications.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in radar, RF design, development, testing, system analysis, link budget, cascade analysis, and block diagrams.

    + Experience with RF Systems Development and testing, component selection, cascade analysis, and RF link budgets.

    + Proficient in Cadence AWR and Python RFDesigner.

    + Knowledge of small-signal gain, noise figure, linearity, and cascade analysis.

    + Experience with radio frequency spectrum analyzers, Vector Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes, Power Meters, Sensors, and Network Analyzers.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of applicable experience; Master’s degree is preferred.

    + Applicable knowledge of RF systems and their design, development, requirements verification, test planning, test execution, and data analysis.

    + Experience in delivering advanced development hardware.

    + Ability to work effectively in a team environment under tight deadlines.

    + Experience providing information for briefings and technical reviews such as SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, and TIMS.

    + Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance is a plus.

    + Experience in radar systems, electronic warfare, microwave engineering, analog and digital signal processing, embedded software development, physics modeling, and simulation.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/hr.
