    Job Description:

    Role Summary/Purpose:

    The AVP, Brand Marketing is responsible for executing brand strategies that enhance brand awareness, drive consumer engagement, and support growth objectives for Synchrony. This role will manage marketing campaigns, maintain brand consistency, leverage consumer insights, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure cohesive brand messaging across all touchpoints and support all functions of the Brand Marketing team.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    + Support full Brand Marketing team across Media and Creative

    + Implement brand strategies to increase brand equity and market share.

    + Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across owned and paid channels.

    + Work closely with creative and media agencies to produce effective, traffic, and optimize marketing assets and campaigns.

    + Monitor brand performance via market research, consumer insights, and campaign analytics; report on KPIs.

    + Maintain brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all communication materials and platforms.

    + Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the company to support go-to-market initiatives

    + Lead brand and legal reviews for all new content

    + Manage brand marketing budgets and ensure all activities are within approved allocations.

    + Stay updated on industry trends and competitive movements to inform strategic recommendations.

    + Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    + Bachelor's Degree OR; in lieu of a degree, a high school equivalent and 8+ years of brand marketing within the credit card industry.

    + 4+ years of experience in brand or marketing management roles to include:

    + Demonstrated success in developing and executing brand campaigns.

    + Strong project management and communication skills.

    + Proficiency with marketing analytics and digital marketing platforms.

    + _Must work East Coast Hours._

    Desired Characteristics:

    + Brand, media, creative, or social agency experience a plus

    + Creative thinker and effective problem solver.

    + Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    + Strong project management and communication skills.

     

    Grade/Level: 11

     

    The salary range for this position is **90,000.00 - 155,000.00** USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

     

    Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

     

    Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

    Eligibility Requirements:

    + You must be 18 years or older

    + You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

    + You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

    + You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

    + New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
