Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee key financial operations, including month-end close processes, cash flow reporting, and operational accounting activities. This role also involves providing essential support for audits and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position located in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage month-end close procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

• Prepare and analyze cash flow statements to maintain a clear overview of financial health.

• Oversee operational accounting functions, including account reconciliations and journal entries.

• Collaborate with auditors to provide necessary documentation and support during financial statement audits.

• Maintain and update the general ledger to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.

• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.

• Monitor financial data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

• Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial processes and reporting.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards in all accounting practices. Requirements • Proven experience in managing month-end close processes and financial reporting.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger management and account reconciliation.

• Expertise in preparing and analyzing cash flow statements.

• Familiarity with financial statement audits and audit support.

• Proficiency in creating and reviewing journal entries.

• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and tools.
