Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. In this role, you will manage essential financial processes, including invoicing, collections, and cash applications, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts receivable operations.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage customer invoices, ensuring timely and accurate billing.

• Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments to maintain healthy cash flow.

• Apply incoming payments to customer accounts accurately and promptly.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.

• Prepare and maintain detailed financial records related to accounts receivable activities.

• Conduct regular reviews of aging accounts and initiate collection efforts for overdue balances.

• Generate reports on accounts receivable performance for management review.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations. Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts receivable, cash posting or a similar financial role.

• Strong knowledge of commercial collections and cash application processes.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

• Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with customers and internal teams.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with billing functions and financial reporting.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in accounting is a plus.
