Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Carmel, Indiana. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing and maintaining financial records, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in bookkeeping processes. This position is ideal for someone with QuickBooks expertise and a solid foundation in accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

• Rebuild and manage QuickBooks systems to ensure accurate financial data entry and organization.

• Perform data entry and reconciliation of transactions from bank statements.

• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes to maintain timely payments and collections.

• Assist with tax preparation tasks to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Maintain and organize general bookkeeping records to support financial reporting.

• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all financial documentation and records.

• Support the consultant with additional accounting-related tasks as needed. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks, including data entry and system management.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.

• Experience with bank reconciliation tasks.

• Basic knowledge of tax preparation principles.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
