Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee a team of skilled accountants and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in month and year end, mentorship, along with a proven track record of leadership and accounting proficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor a team of staff accountants, fostering growth and collaboration.

• Oversee month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to uphold financial accuracy.

• Review and prepare journal entries to support accounting operations.

• Lead financial statement audits, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

• Analyze and resolve discrepancies in account reconciliations.

• Implement best practices in accounting procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with other departments to support organizational financial objectives.

• Monitor and enforce compliance with industry-specific accounting regulations.

• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on financial performance

Requirements

• Minimum of seven years of accounting experience, including at least two years in a supervisory role.

• Strong proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger management.

• Proven ability to manage financial statement audits and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Advanced skills in account reconciliation and journal entry preparation.

• Excellent leadership and communication abilities to guide and support a team.

• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
