Summary of Position
Administrative support position for the Hospitality Program. Assists with scheduling classes; assigning classrooms. Preparing all part time employment agreements for the full and part time faculty members; assisting students with degree plans and selection of classes. Prepare and submit purchase requisitions for supplies, equipment, and services in accordance with college purchasing policies. Assisting Program Coordinator with all administrative duties within the department.
Minimum Required Education
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum Required Experience
Four years wage earning clerical experience, or certification / successful completion of relevant trade school (30 college credits) and one-year wage earning clerical experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and institution software including Colleague, Teams and Applicant tracking system.
+ Skilled in using computers, printers, scanners, and basic troubleshooting.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple ongoing projects or events.
+ Provide courteous and professional service to students, faculty, and staff.
+ Familiarity with administrative and clerical procedures including filing systems, scheduling, and records management.
+ Must communicate effectively in oral and written English.
+ Handle interruptions while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in task completion.
+ Must be neat in appearance and provide a positive professional attitude to customers and students.
