Structural Engineer III Location: Greenwood Village, CO - Hybrid Work Schedule CLP Engineering (CLPE) is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our corporate engineering team. Structural Engineer Duties & Responsibilities: * Develop detailed project plans, designs, and cost estimates for power systems infrastructure projects. * Analyze project requirements and technical specifications. Review design and construction plans and provide recommendations to improve project feasibility, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness. * Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, and ensure timely completion of projects within budget and on schedule. * Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality control checks to ensure that projects meet design and regulatory requirements. * Ensure that all documentation and reports are accurate and up-to-date. * Collaborate with other engineers, planners, and stakeholders to identify and evaluate potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. * Coordinate with other departments, project teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards. * Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, materials, and methods in the power systems infrastructure field. Make recommendations on new approaches to improve project outcomes. *Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Skills & Qualifications: * Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from an accredited university. * MS degree in structural engineering a plus. * Five to seven (5-7) years of civil/structural engineering work experience required; focus on power systems infrastructure projects preferred. * Strong technical expertise, project management experience, and regulatory compliance knowledge to ensure safe and reliable operation of power systems infrastructure. * Technical proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software. * Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. * Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards related to power systems infrastructure design, construction, and maintenance. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify and mitigate project risks. * Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Strong communication skills, both oral and written. * General knowledge of electrical engineering principles and experience working with power systems infrastructure preferred. Travel: * 20% travel to project sites expected. Work Authorization/Security Clearance: * You must be a US citizen. * You will be required to obtain Military Base Access Security Clearance. * A valid driver's license is required.
