    The Sr. Project Manager (PM) is responsible for oversight of Equipment Redistribution & Divestiture Sites at three Army Continuous Transformation (CT) focused locations: Fort Bragg, Fort Hood, and Fort Carson while remaining fully capable of supporting up to two simultaneous fly-away teams. The PM responsibilities include contract execution, subcontracts, and financial resources to accomplish contractual obligations. Direct project planning, estimating, negotiations, execution, closeout, and related administrative support. Provide final approval for all project activities. Serve as the primary contact with the Contracting Officer and provide guidance to subordinate staff to foster positive relations. Ensure responsiveness to Government requirements, timely completion of project milestones and (in coordination with Government representatives) develop future workload plans.

    Responsibilities

    + Plan the project to accomplish its goals or produce the products required within constraints such as time, cost and agreed quality standards.

    + Maintains the project forecast and monitors progress of the project plan and the budget.

    + Anticipates and catches deviations from a plan or schedule early and keeps all participants and stakeholders informed.

    + Articulates and negotiates consensus on a final vision of the product and/or the core project goals from scoping the requirements of all stakeholders.

    + Has authority to bind the Company to all contractual actions, such as Task Order issuance, contract modification, management decisions and subcontracting issues.

    + Works directly with the CT focused team members or with their team leaders at Fort Bragg, Fort Hood, and Fort Carson to estimate effort, plan activities and negotiate consensus among individual team members on their appointed tasks.

    + Understands relevant methodologies, processes and standards and ensures that all project team members understand and follow these also.

    + Generates many types of documents, including requirement specifications, contracts, schedules, personnel records, project reports, communication (email) records, design specifications, meeting agendas, minutes and status reports.

    + Processes departmental time sheets.

    + Responds to emergency site maintenance as required.

    + Supports other department staff as needed or directed.

    + Adheres to the established safety and personnel policies and standard operating procedures.

    + Keeps the Subsidiary President and appropriate governing entities appraised of unique situations and problems encountered.

    + Performs duties timely and cost effectively.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + Must have a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or master’s license in any trade discipline.

    + Must have a minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in program management/logistics.

    + Must be proficient in standard business office software.

    + Must have the ability to create and maintain a positive team atmosphere with effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work professionally with a variety of people and personalities.

    + Must be able to meet deadlines and handle potentially highly stressful situations.

    + Must have the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

    + Must have the ability to receive a favorable Tier 1 investigation result and obtain a CAC.

    + Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.

    + Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.

    + Must have a valid Alabama driver’s license.

    + Must have a Real ID.

    + Must be willing to travel within the US when required.

    Desired Qualifications:

    + PMP certification or formal training certificate or project management experience is a plus.

    + Previous military experience at Brigade or higher, especially in Sustainment operations.

    + Previous experience with US Army EAGLE Contract vehicle, US Army Contracting Command and US Army Sustainment Command.

    + Previous experience with ISO 9001-2015, Green Belt, Lean methods, Six Sigma theories and practices.

    + Knowledge of labor and cost tracking.

    + Understanding of government contracts, correspondence, reports, and records.

    + Customer service experience.

    + Good presentation/public speaking skills.
