• Desktop Support Technician

    TEKsystems (Raleigh, NC)


    Overview:

    We are looking for an experienced Desktop Support Specialist with a strong background in end-user technical support. This role requires more than basic help desk experience—you will handle complex troubleshooting, support a wide range of Microsoft products, and deliver exceptional customer service.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Provide advanced technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals, both onsite and remotely.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues, ensuring minimal downtime for end-users.

    + Support and maintain Microsoft products, including MS Office Suite, SharePoint, OneDrive, OneNote, and Power BI.

    + Assist with system configurations, application installations, and user account management.

    + Document issues, resolutions, and best practices in the ticketing system and knowledge base.

    + Collaborate with IT teams to resolve escalated issues and participate in system upgrades or migrations.

    + Deliver excellent customer service by communicating effectively and managing user expectations.

    Required Qualifications

    + 5+ years of hands-on technical end-user support experience (beyond call center/help desk).

    + Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and Microsoft applications.

    + Proven experience supporting Microsoft 365 products (MS Office, SharePoint, OneDrive, OneNote, Power BI).

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
