Mechanical Engineer – Medical Devices

**Pay Rate:** 35.00-43.50 DOE

**Contract:** 12 month contract with potential extension to 2 yrs or conversion

Join our innovative team designing cutting-edge medical devices and technology! You’ll create and test components, develop prototypes, and solve engineering challenges using your technical and manufacturing expertise.

What You’ll Do:

+ Design parts, prototypes, and systems for medical devices

+ Write and execute test protocols for prototypes and components

+ Create and manage detailed product drawings

+ Develop test fixtures and validation protocols for design verification

Must-Have Skills:

+ BS Mechanical Engineering + 5 years experience OR MS Mechanical Engineering + 3 years experience

+ 1-2 years medical device experience preferred (Class II/III a plus)

+ Proficient in Creo (preferred), SolidWorks, or other CAD software

+ Experience designing test fixtures and developing/validating test methods

Preferences:

+ Injection molded or machined component design experience
