DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the onsite sewage treatment plant, ensuring its proper operation and maintenance, while also managing the custodial staff who maintain the cleanliness of the roadside rest facility along I-70. Keeping meticulous logs of meter readings, chemical usage, and maintenance activities will be essential, as you will also be responsible for preparing and submitting reports as required.
Furthermore, you will ensure that the rest area is adequately stocked with essential supplies, including treatment materials, lavatory items, and cleaning products, and will requisition additional supplies as needed. In your supervisory role, you will manage the custodial staff, coordinating work schedules to guarantee adequate coverage across all shifts. Lastly, you will be tasked with executing activities that align with the requirements outlined in the District’s Strategic Environment Management Program (SEMP) Manual, as well as fulfilling the environmental management obligations associated with this role as specified in relevant training programs.
