    Job Summary

    As a Technology Engineer you will deliver standard and custom supportable technology products. The solutions you build are based on client’s architectural standards, technology roadmaps ,industry trends and business requirements. The expertise you provide will focus on collaboration data systems storage middleware network security and contact center technology products.

    Responsibilities

    As a Technology Engineer you deliver standard and custom supportable technology products. You will be accountable for the operational aspects and management for the above products according to the business requirements and defined service level agreements (SLAs).

     

    + Job Description: This position will be with the Support and Services team within Middleware technologies. The team is responsible for 24/7 support and request management of Middleware technologies such as IBM MQ IBM AppConnect and other messaging services. The position requires understanding of IT infrastructure and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. The ideal candidate will have a background in hosting web applications including expertise in the underlying infrastructure components experience in hosting applications in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure highly preferred.

    • Proficient with Linux and Windows server OS

    • Proficient with installation and configuration of messaging components such as IBM MQ or ActiveMQ

    • Ansible/AWX scripting

    • Experience with hosting applications within AWS or Azure highly preferred

    • Agile Methodology

    + Must Have: Experience installing configuring and troubleshooting IBM MQ IBM AppConnect and ActiveMQ.

    + Nice-to-have: Ansible/AWX automation experience

    + Nice-to-have: Experience with hosting applications within AWS or Azure highly preferred

    Certifications Required

    IBM MQ IBM App Connect and ActiveMQ
