Responsibilities

Amcor in Winchester, VA is looking to add a 3rd Shift Forklift Operator to our expanding operation. This position will train on 1st Shift (M-F 7 AM to 3 PM) and once training is complete, the position will be on 3rd Shift (M-F 11 PM to 7 AM). This position pays $18/hour and once assigned to 3rd Shift, there is a +$2/hour shift differential.

In this job you will:

+ At the start of each shift, conduct forklift inspection and complete the inspection form.

+ Follow all forklift safety requirements.

+ Pull, stage, and verify loads according to specifications.

+ Record all inventory movement and report out after your shift.

+ Pull and store production materials.

+ Assist with monthly physical inventory.

+ Perform inventory spot checks as requested.

+ Perform warehouse cleaning assignments.

+ Other duties as needed.

Qualifications

To be successful in this job you need:

+ Experience operating a sit-down forklift.

+ Ability to pass current approved OSHA training upon hire and annual retraining for forklift operation.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Strong attention to detail.

+ The ability to self-start and self-motivate.

+ To work independently and as a team, without constant direct oversight.
