Special Education Teacher – Mild/Moderate | Banning CA | $60/hr | In-Person

Amergis is seeking two dedicated Special Education Teachers to join Banning, California. These roles offer competitive pay, consistent weekly hours, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in middle and secondary grade classrooms.

Position Details:

+ Location: Banning, CA

+ Pay: $60/hr local | $2,429/week travel

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 35 hours/week

+ Start Date: ASAP

+ Openings: 2

+ Contract Length:

+ Assignment 1: Through end of November (potential extension)

+ Assignment 2: Full school year

Classroom Assignments:

+ Assignment 1: Middle School

+ Assignment 2: Itinerant across 2–3 sites, grades 4–12

+ Class Size/Case Load: TBD

+ Setting: In-person

Requirements:

+ Mild/Moderate Special Education Credential (California)

+ Previous experience in a school setting

+ Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

+ Valid state teaching certificate(s)

+ LBS1 endorsement (preferred)

+ CPR, TB clearance, and health certificate (as applicable)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
