Amergis Educational Staffing is preparing for potential Level II ESE paraprofessional / Behavior Technician positions in schools in Rockledge, FL and surrounding areas for the 2025–26 School Year.

Position Details

+ Role: Level II ESE paraprofessional / Behavior Technician

+ Setting: School-based (K–12)

+ Location: Rockledge, FL (and surrounding areas)

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday (No weekends, no holidays)

+ Compensation: $21+ per hour

+ Start Date: Anticipated for the 2025–26 academic year

Qualifications

+ Experience working with students with exceptional needs or behavioral challenges

+ Familiarity with behavior intervention strategies and individualized support plans

+ Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, therapists, and school staff

+ Strong communication and documentation skills

+ Commitment to supporting student success in an educational environment

The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs and collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

+ High School diploma or equivalent required

+ Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
