The salary range for this position is $104,500 - 118,250. The base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Senior Business Analyst, Transportation & Delivery Process
We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Transportation & Delivery Process and Technology Enablement team. In this role, you'll be a key player in implementing new technology and processes for our last-mile delivery network. Your responsibilities will include gathering requirements from business stakeholders, validating them with our engineering team, and supporting the successful rollout of new solutions. You'll also be responsible for providing valuable insights into project performance.
Who We Are
The Global T&D Process & Technology Enablement team is the driving force behind significant change at Wayfair. We are the "go-to" team for any disruptive technology or process in the first, middle, or last mile of our supply chain. We ensure successful implementations by bringing the right people together, considering all implications during the design and build phases, and tracking the success of our rollouts. Our team is based in Boston but travels frequently to our Home Delivery Operations facilities to oversee new launches.
What You'll Do
We are looking for an analytical, action-oriented, and collaborative individual who can translate business problems to tech improvements, actionable insights and data driven solutions within the last mile delivery space, to influence operational results and tech systems. Successful individuals in this role excel at both qualitative and quantitative analysis while also being eager to communicate upward and outward to tell a concise story through data.
+ Become a SME in Wayfair’s last mile tech and processes in order to answer questions from business stakeholder’s & execution and attend process and tech escalations
+ Become a liaison between engineering and business stakeholders to funnel the right requirements and convert them into product or process enhancements
+ Communicate regularly with cross functional partners to understand process gaps, business trends and new ways to break down problems into solutions
+ Engage in roadmapping and prioritization through diligent opportunity sizing and scoping efforts
+ Build dashboards, visualizations and prototypes to translate data sets into insights and actions
+ Conduct ad hoc analyses and build advanced reports
+ Support tech and process rollout from requirements gathering to launch
+ Manage processes and multiple engagements with key cross-functional partners
What You'll Need
+ Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
+ 2+ years of professional experience
+ Team-first attitude with enthusiasm for cross-functional collaboration
+ High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
+ An entrepreneurial spirit and mindset; you must be adaptable and comfortable with change.
+ Potential travel to Wayfair sites up to once/month
+ Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, SQL or GBQ, and data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio (Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI)
An Important Note about Wayfair's In-Office Policy:
All Boston-based interns, Co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Monday - Thursday, and work remotely Friday.
