The Electrical Products Group was recently purchased from Avail Infrastructure Solutions by nVent Electric plc (“nVent”) and consists of three business units, Enclosure Systems, Switchgear Systems and Bus Systems. As a part of nVent, the Electrical Products Group is a leading provider of infrastructure solutions, designed to help ensure safe and reliable electrical operations primarily in the infrastructure vertical, including power utilities and data centers.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

+ Operate commercial vehicles, including box trucks and cargo vans, to transport goods to and from designated locations.

+ Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.

+ Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery records using company systems.

+ Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper securing and handling of materials.

+ Communicate professionally with customers, and team members.

+ Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations, including DOT guidelines.

+ Ensure cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicles.

+ Report vehicle issues, delays, or delivery problems promptly to management

YOU HAVE:

+ Valid Class C Driver’s License required.

+ Must be able to pass a DOT Physical and DOT Drug Test.

+ Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3 years.

+ Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience (box truck or cargo van preferred).

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

+ Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.

+ Dependable, punctual, and customer-focused.

+ Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures.

Pay Transparency

nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$21.00-$23.00
