    The Electrical Products Group was recently purchased from Avail Infrastructure Solutions by nVent Electric plc (“nVent”) and consists of three business units, Enclosure Systems, Switchgear Systems and Bus Systems. As a part of nVent, the Electrical Products Group is a leading provider of infrastructure solutions, designed to help ensure safe and reliable electrical operations primarily in the infrastructure vertical, including power utilities and data centers.

    W** **HAT** **YOU WILL** **EXPERIENCE** **IN THIS POSITION** **:

    + References blueprint and confers with the Lead person to determine job requirements.

    + MIG welding on aluminum conductors.

    + Gathers necessary materials and performs layout per specifications.

    + Sets up the welding machine and adjusts settings.

    + Operates a welding gun to weld aluminum pieces together.

    + Visually examines welds for adherence to quality standards; rewelds defective joints and does some minor grinding when needed.

    + Operates cutting torch and manual plasma cutter as needed.

    + Applies the weld stencil and notifies the Lead person or Inspector when the product is ready for inspection.

    + Performs ongoing housekeeping duties to keep the work area clear of scrap and debris.

    YOU HAVE:

    + HS diploma or GED preferred.

    + At least 2 years of experience required.

    + At least 2 years of welding experience.

    + Welding certification, required.

    + MIG/TIG welding experience

    + Intermediate blueprint reading

    + Ability to read blueprints beyond a basic level, including orientation and symbols.

    + Experience using hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers), grinders, and millimeter tape measures.

    + Familiarity with suage equipment (pneumatic system for pinching materials).

    + Experience with soldering and working on circuit boards.

    + Comfortable using overhead cranes to move large equipment.
